Write for us

Stellar Community News welcomes pitches that help curious readers notice, understand or share the night sky. We are interested in clear, original work grounded in careful explanation rather than specialist credentials or sweeping claims.

What we welcome

Propose accessible pieces on sky patterns, observing choices, astronomy's past, useful concepts or the social side of looking up. A pitch should have a distinct reader question and a clear reason the subject remains useful beyond a passing event.

A strong pitch

Send a short summary of the central idea, the points you would cover, the intended reader and any sources or visual material you expect to use. Explain what makes the approach distinct from familiar introductory coverage; do not send confidential information or material you do not have permission to share.

How to propose

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option, making clear that the message is a pitch. Please include a brief outline and any relevant links as plain text; a proposal is not a guarantee of publication, and we will not invent credentials or assign a piece without agreement.

Our outlook

Wonder grows when we look together

The sky belongs to no single expert or observer. We value clear explanations, patient looking and the different perspectives people bring to a shared view.
